Mother Nature likes to show off her power in South Africa, and Cape Point is no exception. Watch the Indian and Atlantic Oceans crash into each other several feet below the point, as the wind rips through your hair. The drive to get there is magical, too — you'll weave through 20 miles of wildlife between Cape Town and the Point, passing baboons and antelope. You can opt for a safari, too. If you don’t want to walk up to the lighthouse, there is a funicular. But to reach the point itself, you will have to hoof it.
