Canadian Museum of History

Canadian Museum of History
Overlooking the Ottawa River and Parliament Hill, this museum has visitors walk through recreated villages and come face-to-face with artifacts which tell the story of how Canada has come to be. From the First Peoples to the fur traders to the Prairie Province farmers, this museum possesses dozens of interactive and hands-on displays for families to engage with.

A little bit isolated from the heart of downtown Ottawa, the museum is about a 15-minute walk from Parliament Hill via Pont Alexandra Bridge. The museum has an underground parking garage for those driving.
