Camphors at Vergelegen
Named after the majestic camphor trees planted in front of the historic Vergelegen homestead, this Somerset West restaurant's menu uses mostly farm ingredients in local dishes with a cosmopolitan twist. In the summer months, the kitchen will put together a “white tablecloth” picnic so you can sit beneath the estate's magnificent camphor trees, basking in the shade of the Hottentots Holland mountains. (If you're in the mood for a more casual vibe.)
