Highflying Air Show at Wings Over Camarillo
Some people do amazing things with airplanes. That was the case at the annual Wings Over Camarillo, an air show at the Camarillo Airport that takes place every August. There were stunt pilots, parachuters, planes that fly in formation. It was a lot to take in. We had a chance to peek inside restored World War II military planes and talk to some of the pilots who now fly the planes. If you go, take your own lawn chairs and shade. There’s plenty of food and craft vendors to keep everyone busy in between stunt shows. Camarillo Airport is so easy to get to. It definitely has a small town feel. No hassles or traffic getting in and out.
