I happened upon Teraca Bamba as I was getting myself lost on the winding, ancient streets of Split. Seeing the awning of this caffe bar on the second-story of a quintessential stone building, I knew that the view of the Riva just had to be spectacular. I climbed some stone stairs nearby (stairs that had signs leading to Marjan), and then I was on Solurat, the narrow, uphill street that this cafe calls home.
There is coffee, there are cocktails, there are non-alcoholic beverage options, and there's a view of the harbor that reiterates what a paradise Split actually is. Also, for the international traveler wanting to share their experience, there is free wifi!
If you're looking for a coffee stop in Split that's off the beaten path of the crowded Riva promenade, give Teraca Bamba a try. You won't be disappointed!
