A Gambe di Gatto is a tiny restaurant in Montepulciano, Tuscany, Italy with fabulous food. The service is very slow as it just a husband and wife team. Laura cooks, Emanuel serves. Using only local products, mostly organic, they do a fabulous job with a menu that changes daily. I had a delightful meal there with fabulous food and the good company of fellow travelers. The couple to my right had eaten there a time or 2 already and recommended the strawberries with balsamic vinegar. I was reluctant. I couldn't imagine the combination being appetizing. But, the couple raved about it and, upon seeing their bowl, and trying some (they insisted!), I was sold. I ordered a serving of strawberries with true, top notch balsamic vinegar and it was the best dessert I had during this 2 week trip.
