Every time I visit the flea market in Jaffa, I must stop for a cup of coffee or a bite at Pua restaurant. The space looks like a retro apartment my grandparents used to have, filled with furnitures and decorations well collected from the vintage stores next door. Beside the eclectic atmosphere and design, Pua serves a great, earthy and tasty food. Israeli breakfast is served all day (a great plus for those who love a good well-balanced mediterranean breakfast) and the menu changes according to the owner’s desire. Rest asure that every day will be a good one. I highly recommend to make reservations (if possible) or be patient as this place is very busy.

Vintage Retro Cafe in Jaffa, Tel Aviv

The flea market in Jaffa Tel Aviv is a great area to find some great antiques, steals and deals, but also to enjoy great restaurants and cafes which ‘adopt’ the Vintage Retro chic to their interior design, menus and atmosphere. One of the places I like to hang out when I’m visiting Tel Aviv is cafe Puaa’. (8 Rabbi Yohanan Street; Jaffa)

Magical lunch in Jaffa!

A friend and I happened upon this spot. We ordered the curried pumpkin dumplings at the suggestion of our server and boy were they amazing! Not too heavy or greasy, and so full of flavor. This spot in general is such a sweet have from the business that is Jaffa. Breakfast looked amazing as did all the coffee drinks. Food isn’t limited to the traditional Israeli options, I’d say it’s more of a modern, hippie take on Israeli cuisine. Don’t miss this place! It’s also on a sweet street filled with the best little art galleries, jewelry shops, etc.
