Criminology and Cappuccino
In 1730, Frankfurt was an independent city-state where this baroque building served as a prison and the headquarters of the city's militia. By the late 1860s, the building became a police station, and in 1904 it became a cafe. Located in a busy plaza, this is the ideal place to people-watch and consider the centuries of criminal history that took place under your feet.
