This is what I love most about Taipei. You can experience the hustle and the bustle of the city around Taipei 101 or on any other major streets, and then you find little gems here and there in every neighborhood.
Cafe Ballet is located in the lush neighborhood of MinSheng Community, which was the residential area built by the US military in the 1960s and exudes a very western suburb-like ambiance.
The Cafe itself offers western brunch food such as omelettes, eggs benedict and various homemade cakes. For book lovers, there's a wall made of bookshelves filled with all sorts of great reads. The place is best for a relaxing Sunday brunch, but I would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a quiet morning to start their day or just a mid-day break from their busy life.
