Pulling maple taffy on snow
Quebec produces over 80% percent of the world's maple syrup, and after a few days in Tremblant, you're sure to have as sweet a tooth as a local if not their belief that all things maple are health giving. Either way, you'll want to stop at the Cabane à Sucre de la Montagne, a tiny hut near the gondola, where owners, sister and brother Manon et Yves Henri, show you how to swirl gooey maple taffy from fresh snow onto sticks. (In summer time they do it with crushed ice).
