Danes know a thing or two about beer. After all, Denmark is the home of Tuborg and Carlsberg. One of the newer places that’s attracting real ale fans is a former iron foundry and locomotive factory in the Nørrebro neighborhood. Brus is a microbrewery done on a macro scale: a huge place (more than 8,000 square feet) with 13 tanks to make the beer. In addition to the bar, there’s also a restaurant headed by Michelin-starred Austrian chef Christian Gadient, who’d previously worked at the Hotel d’Angleterre.
