A top Lake Como sits the town of Brunnate
Take the funiculore from Como up to Brunnate and find a lovely little town with a beautiful Duomo where the nun's are still in their full habits. Where the old men get together to play board games and the children gather arms and laugh all the way to school. The views are lovely and the architecture fits into the land. Everywhere you look you see decorative iron gates, wonderful doors, and flower boxes adorning the windows thrown open to take in the light of the sun and the coolness of the breeze. When you have drunk in the charm of Brunnate take the funiculore back to Como and sip a Prosseco by the lake.
