Corso Fleuri
Flowers. Beautiful, fragrant, and also one of the primary materials for the region’s perfume industry. Celebrating them is as natural as the blossoms themselves. Named for the puffy yellow mimosa blossoms that fill the air every winter, Bormes les Mimosas puts on the Riviera’s best known flower parade on the last Sunday of February. The day begins at the church with a musical mass, then there is a vintage Solex bike parade followed by an afternoon of street performers. After lunch the show begins with the parade of sensational floats followed by a competition for the best float, or, what the French call a flower fight!
