One of Texas’s Last True Dance Halls
One of the last of the true Texas Dance Halls, the Broken Spoke celebrates the best of Texas’s Honky Tonk music, and is somewhat of a Texas legend. After all, this Austin establishment that opened its doors back in 1964 has hosted countless country legends, artists such as Willie Nelson and George Strait. Texans have been entering these hallowed doors for over 50 years, for its authentic music and food, especially its famous chicken fried steak.
