Rue de la Station 4, 5500 Dinant, Belgium
Crossing the MeuseLieutenant Charles de Gaulle was injured on this bridge in the town of Dinant during the War to End All Wars (WWI) and the town was almost completely destroyed.
Today Dinant is a more peaceful place with a lot of history. The locals love their great inventor too, Adolphe Sax who invented, you guessed it, the saxophone. The bridge has several over-sized ones decorated by European artists.
