The name Bræðraborg means "Brother's House" in reference to the two siblings who opened up a watchmaker's shop here in 1907. Today the historic building is home to a cozy café that serves up healthy, locally sourced and delicious offerings, including cakes, homemade jams and freshly baked breads. The café also runs trips and sells boxed lunches for hikers and adventurers.
