My husband and I enjoyed our best dinner in Queenstown at the Botswana Butchery (named after the country of origin of its first chef). The restaurant has two seatings for dinner in the main dining room, at six and eight in the evening. Because we made a seven-thirty reservation we were seated in a private room, a perfect spot to unwind after a rigorous day of hiking. Our waiter guided us through the menu and chose the perfect wines to complement our main courses of wild Fiordland red deer and Bendigo rabbit. Excellent food, superb service, and a memorable dining experience.
