AFAR EXPERIENCES SYDNEY ATTENDEE

Overlooking Bondi Beach, this hotspot from Melbourne restaurateur Maurice Terzini is THE place to take in the surf scene below. The décor is beach-chic (rattan chairs, white walls, marine-colored accents) and the mod-Italian fare is consistently good (if a bit pricey). Join the bronzed set for a long lunch or come at sunset for a fizzy drink.

Bondi Icebergs Club

If ever a swimming pool deserved Instagram-legend status, it's this one. This historic landmark has been sitting pretty at the southern end of Bondi Beach since 1929, and is home to a bunch of intrepid types called the Bondi Icebergs who swim here year round. There are two pools, both open to the public—a large one facing the ocean and a smaller one for children. Even if you choose not to get wet, witnessing ocean waves crash over the side of the pool is an unforgettable sight.
