Not merely a great excuse to enjoy caipirinhas, a cruise on a modified old fishing schooner takes you around the small islands surrounding Búzios and into its many coves and bays. When the boat anchors off fine beaches such as Azeda and João Fernandes, guests take a dip or snorkel and afterward snack on fresh mangos, guavas and passion fruit. Glass-bottomed catamarans also cruise around Búzios to peek at the reef life that flourishes in these waters.
