Blue Hole Regional Park
Make Like Tarzan, and Swing
In the picturesque town of Wimberley, this nostalgic swimming hole evokes harmless mischief, Tom Sawyer, and summertime—general old-school fun. Part of a 126-acre park complex, the tree-hugged, spring-fed pool has broad lawns for picnics and spots for kids to play, as well as plenty of shade. If you want to make a splash as you seek out cooler body temperatures, the pool’s most popular way of entering the pool is via a couple of rope swings.
