Binya's Coffee

Coffee Break in Kita-Kamakura
A cozy spot to stop for a cake set or lunch. After you visit Engaku-ji walk away from the station toward Kencho-ji. You'll see Binya's across the street just before you reach Kencho-ji, which is my favorite temple in all of Kamakura. I went for the pancake set and paid an extra dollar for a cappuccino ($11). Japanese treats are far less sweet than those back home, still it makes me laugh every time I see pancakes listed as desserts.
