A Great, Fun Overview of Copenhagen by Bike with Kids
Normally I wouldn't recommend going on a tour in a city but this is a great exception. Especially with kids and here's why: If you visit Copenhagen, you must bike the city at some point. It's the primary mode of transport for residents and it's a great way to see the city. However, if you do it on your own, you have stop and look at the map every few blocks.
If you Bike with Mike, you can relax and just follow the leader throughout the beautiful streets of Copenhagen. At periodic stops Mike gives very entertaining talks and background on life and politics in the city. Some we listened to, some we didn't -- it was just a great way to get a feel for the layout of the city and see different neighborhoods without any stress. And here's why it's great for kids -- if you book in advance you can reserve the "cargo" bike, which is basically a box with seats in front of the bike. The kids loved it. They were entertained by watching all the passing sites. And it was a great way to occupy them while we toured the city.
