The suburbs of Sydney have some of the best cafes with the most personality. Big Brekky in Petersham, named for the Australian slang term for breakfast, is no exception. It was my first meal in Australia and it quickly became a favorite. The fruit plate, pictured above, is an array of exotic fruits (passionfruit, kiwi, pear, apple, strawberry), topped with yogurt and honey. Eggs any way you like them and freshly baked artisan breads are also great. It’s all worth the early morning and the drive to the Inner West.
