Bibich Winery

Zapadna Ulica 63, 22222, Plastovo, Croatia

I loved eating my way through Croatia and must have put on 10 pounds in 6 days. One of the most memorable culinary highlights was eating and drinking at Bibich Winery.

Driving to Bibich is already a treat, as it is located in the picturesque Skradin wine region, about 10-15 minutes by car from Šibenik. The winery has been in the same family for centuries, and siblings, spouses, cousins, uncles and aunts still work closely together to make some of the best Croatian wines and create culinary magic.

We had the nine course lunch menu with perfect wine pairings. Nothing stuffy about the experience, just fun and our taste buds in overdrive. The menu changes throughout the season, but we were lucky to get a taste of their famous Skradin risotto, which takes over 12 hours to prepare!

A word of caution: Bibich is only open from late April to mid-October, and gets booked up months in advance, so make sure you plan ahead.

Lunch Tasting & Wine Pairing Menu:
–Euro 150 (at time of publishing, please double check when you make your booking)

Dinner Tasting & Wine Pairing Menu:
–Euro 300 (at time of publishing, please double check when you make your booking)

>>>Warm thanks to Alan Mandić from Secret Dalmatia, for organizing a truly memorable, and off the beaten path trip for our curious and insatiable group of travelers, and to the Art Hotel Kalelarga for perfect accommodations in Zadar.
