In a sleek store on Andrassy Avenue, the city’s upscale shopping strip, Berlin carries a carefully curated selection of women’s clothing by designers like Cako (whose flowing garments come in saturated colors for winter, lovely pastels in summer), as well as unique accessories like Agnes Kovac’s funky angular handbags. On offer for men are local designer Sandor Lakatos’s boundary-breaking and sometimes gender-bending togs in black and white.
