I’m a beach kid. I was lucky enough to grow up 15 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the past two years I have been living a block from the ocean. Which I am super grateful for. But, the funny thing is I like my town better in the winter. Because its empty. Suddenly it’s like a new town that is practically your playground. My favorite this year was when we got a really terrible snow storm. Instead of staying inside like normal people. My cousin and I decided we were going to explore. First we had to meal prep because we knew later we would be starving and freezing. We made homemade spaghetti and a hot meal in the crockpot and we were good to go. There were probably only five other people outside that day. Every business was closed except for one liquor store. Which we eventually stopped at:). We walked around the whole town and it was beautiful, cold, but beautiful. So take a look at the beauty of winter time in a summer town.
