Just a 30-minute drive from the Cancun’s International Airport, the secluded boutique resort is set on 25 acres of preserved jungle and has direct access to the beach and Caribbean Sea. The resort’s intimate 63 rooms feature Mayan influences and earthy toned décor. Rooms are airy with large windows to let light and sea breezes in.

The resort features three outdoor pools, one is adults only, to relax beside, two tennis courts and a fitness center for active travelers. Labyrinth-esque paths wind throughout the property and lush jungle; guests should keep an eye out for colorful birds passing overhead while admiring the natural beauty. Guests can also take in the scenery from a bird’s eye view on the Observation Tower, which also hosts private dinners to savor the view.

A stay at Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa is not complete without a visit to Kinan Spa, which offers traditional Mayan treatments and daily yoga. Kinan Spa utilizes herbs grown in the property’s Healing Garden along with locally harvested honey. With so much to do on property, it’s hard to imagine leaving Belmond Maroma’s blissful premises though the property is ideally located near local attractions like the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve and Tulum’s Mayan ruins.
