One of San Francisco's (over-the-) top attractions has welcomed more than 6 million people from around the world to experience what began in 1974 as a small musical revue at the Savoy Tivoli. Beach Blanket Babylon is now the longest-running musical revue in live theater history and has a permanent home at Club Fugazi. The show is a satirical romp through American history, pop culture, and politics through the eyes of the main character, Snow White, who travels, sings, and dances around the world in search of her Prince Charming. Along the way, a slew of ever-changing and opinionated personalities in garish costumes and oversize hats help guide Miss White and keep the audience laughing until the final curtain. Evening performances are restricted to those 21 and over.
