Bastille Day FêteNew Orleans isn’t known as America’s most French city for nothing. Shout
“Vive la France” with other Francophiles at the annual fest that nods its cap—or rather, towering Marie Antoinette-inspired hair—to NOLA’s French heritage. Observance of the July 14, 1789, storming of the Bastille, which sparked the French Revolution, features citywide celebrations hosted by the Alliance Française and the Consulate General of France in New Orleans. You can expect 18th-century costume contests and fine foods and wines from across the pond.
