A short bus ride out of the city leads straight to beer lover's paradise. Though Basque Country is not known for its beer prowess, the movement is gaining momentum.
At the head of this growth is a group of American good ole boys, one of whom just happens to have been one of Stone Brewery's head brewers. They've combine their love for craft beer and their knowledge of beer making with the local beverage scene to turn a warehouse into a brewery. They are continually updating, and they host various parties, tastings and events: both at the brewery and at locations across the city. The local favorite is the IPA, but the Oatmeal Stout is a perfect beer dessert. You can even try their beers at the Michelin-star restaurants around town.
