Tour Frank Lloyd Wright, a Free Museum, and a Hilltop Park
One of my favorite parks in L.A. is a deceptively massive hill just east of Hollywood. After the climb, enjoy amazing views, a free art museum, and even a tour of the Hollyhock House, a fascinating structure designed by Frank Lloyd Wright right down to the hollyhock plant-inspired dining room chairs. The park is also host to a theater and art studios. There many events throughout the year, including wine tastings and movie screenings, so check the website. Grab a coffee from a nearby cafe, drive up the hill, and enjoy the hell out of your Sunday.
