Suguta Valley Sand Dunes, Northern Kenya, AfricaKenya is widely regarded for its Wildlife Photography opportunities. An adventure into the northern range lands opened a whole new world for me. Encountering the amazing landscapes and scenery of the north left us all awed by the variety of attractions.
We hovered over the Suguta sand dunes soaking in the last light and enjoying the moment before returning back to our Lodge for the night.
The Suguta valley is considered among the hottest places on earth and during our excursion there temperatures were well above 40 degrees centigrade. This could not in anyway dampen our excitement.
There are no roads leading into this valley and the only way in is by air. Either by Helicopter of light fixed wing. Other areas of interest include the Lake Logipi, Silale crater, Painted valley,Lake Turkana and numerous unnamed calderas and crater lakes scattered on the valley floor.
