If you ever have a chance of visiting Western Alberta, in Canada, make sure to drive to Lake Louise and hike up to Lake Anges, which is no less spectacular than the picture of Lake Louise I have attached (I used color swap on my camera to bring out the glacial blue hue of the lake). You can complete a round-trip hike in under 3 hours between the two lakes, but you will want to devote some extra time for gaping at the amazing views.
Also, remember to bring along some cash because near the top of the trail there is a tea house with some salivating options. You will be yearning for a break, and some hydration, after the quad-clenching uphill trek it will take to get you there. It's absolutely worth it, but the tea house is completely off the grid, so credit cards won't do.
