Tigers and Gaur in Bandhavgarh, IndiaThere are several things that make it onto the final bucket list for unique travel experiences one should do before you die. Seeing a tiger in the wild is one of them. Beautiful, highly endangered, mystical and incredibly rare to see. I was lucky enough to tick that one off the bucket list last month in India, Bandhavgarh National Park. The actual experience far exceeded my high expectations. Go there, see it, and experience it! While travelling in India, I was also fortunate and very proud to witness the results of what real conservation efforts are about. Supporting the reversal of local extinctions is high on the pecking order of such wins. The relocation of Gaur (large Indian buffalo) back into Bandhavgarh by andBeyond Conservation to provide a sustainable food source for the tigers was one such win!
