I don't always go for pizza. However, being a father of a 8 years old girl is a safe bet without the hustle of discussing over every item of the menu. Growing up in "the old country" also have developed a taste for the thin crust, fresh mozzarella possibly brick wood oven Italian style pizza. I have tried almost every place claiming Italian style pizza in Baltimore. Hersh's Pizza & Drinks is one of the few to follow VPN (Vera Pizza Napoletana) requirements. All ingredients are home made, including the fresh mozzarella as well as everything in the menu with exception of ice cream. The restaurant is built in the repurpose of a row-house typical of the Federal Hill neighborhood. A good selection of craft beers is available.
