The Hong Kong Film Industry prides itself on locally made blockbusters, and you just might into a film in production around town. But if the kids are looking to “meet” celebrities for sure, head on up to the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at the Peak Tower. Here, within the six themed areas, they can rub shoulders with (wax figures of) celebrities like Jackie Chan, Brad Pitt, local heartthrob Andy Lau, and even Bruce Lee. A note of caution, though: You might want to cover their eyes in the SCREAM section, or avoid it altogether to escape nightmares later. Another option is to visit the Avenue of the Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui. This is Hong Kong’s version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and kids will have a ball trying famous handprints on for size.
