A little luxury shopping
Paris is an undeniably extravagant city and one of its greatest feats is ensuring that a little bit of luxury is accessible to everyone. The decadent macarons from the gorgeous Ladurée tea room are the perfect example. Or using the side entrance to bypass the lines and taking the free Olafur Eliasson designed elevator to the rooftop art space at Louis Vuitton’s flagship store. Stepping into the original Chanel boutique and leaving with a camellia clad bag can make some girls weak in the knees, even if the purchase is just a lipstick. The designer boutiques along the Faubourg St Honoré are some of the most welcoming, offering Monsieur a coffee as he admires his date trying on flattering silks, irresistible handbags or alluring footwear.
