Panhandle Pumpkin Patch Picking
There’s something special about the fall in Texas when the hot summer air is starting to turn crisp and cool, the trees are changing colors, and the pumpkin patches are prime for the picking. At At’l Do Farms in Lubbock, autumn brings pumpkin patches and hayrides to Pumpkin Hollow, an area with over 150 hand-carved pumpkins with all kinds of characters and designs skillfully etched in to them. The Hungry Crow grill is open, there are horse rides and campfires, and one of the biggest attractions is the massive maze, which has a route available for families with smaller children. Open year round and stretching beyond the fall and pumpkin season, this is a great spot for private parties and special events, if you are celebrating an occasion on your Texas trip.
