Located in the heart of San Francisco, The Asian Art Museum showcases the unique aesthetic and achievements of Asian cultures. From the special exhibits to the permanent collection, everything is well-displayed. I saw the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an, China, two years ago and I wasn't disappointed with this exhibit. However, here I was able to see the warriors close-up with no plexiglass between them and me.
When I visited one morning, the crowds weren't too bad so I recommend going early in the day. Be sure to see the permanent collections on floors 2 and 3.
