Information Center with a View
This visitor center in Tokyo, designed by Japanese architects Kengo Kuma and Associates, is very distinctive: It looks like a stack of smaller buildings with sloping roofs.

On the top floor, there's a cafe and balcony where you can catch the sights of the Asakusa neighborhood. From this viewpoint, you can see Sensoji-temple, the Asahi Beer Hall (or "golden turd").

A highly recommended pit stop for anyone visiting Tokyo.
