Artisans Market

Vía Cincuentenario, Panamá, Panama

Visitors on the hunt for traditional pieces should check out the Artisans Market near the ruins of Panamá Viejo, where craftspeople from around the country sell their works. Look for tagua-nut carvings and molas, traditional woven fabrics created by the women of the Cuna people who live on Panama’s San Blas (Kuna Yala) Islands.
