A Touch Of Texas Wild
Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a 200-acre outdoor sanctuary whose trails beg to be explored on foot or bike. Wildflowers and flowering trees bloom in the spring, transforming the park with color. But with three distinct ecoregions—Riparian (or river) forest, Upland forest, and prairie—it's worth exploring all year round. Keep an eye out for turtles, egrets, and fish in the small river, owls and woodpeckers in the trees, and rabbits in the grass, and climb the Observation Tower to admire views of the surrounding area.
