In the days leading up to Day of the Dead, dancing devils from the Mixteca region roam the Andador (main pedestrian street) and zocalo (main plaza) in the centre of Oaxaca. Cracking their whips and shouting, they mock-bully the crowd. They are accompanied by loud brass bands and lots of attitude.
