Chillin' and Enjoyin' the View, Arthur's Town, Cat Island, The Bahamas
For almost a decade I volunteered to assist in the coverage of the E. Clement National Art Festival in The Bahamas. One year, when I was on the Cat Island, we stopped to patronize a small bar on the ocean side there (non-alcoholic drinks for us) before the longish drive back to where we were staying.
The view was amazing! The place was made of wood and had flotsam and sea trinkets all over the place -- from small floaters to nets to conch shells and the like. The island breeze and the friendly people made the worries of the city melt away and we enjoyed talking to people there about their life.
