Although I seemed to only see locals at the street side barbershops, I found the idea fascinating. It couldn't be easier to accomplish the task of a haircut or a shave when the nearest barber was only steps away. This "shop" was located on the road from Fatehupur Sikri into Agra. Both towns have sublime offerings for travelers. The Taj Mahal in Agra and the abandoned capital of Fatehpur Sikri are both "must do" in the area but ask a driver to take you across the river from the Taj in Agra to the site of the Tomb of Itimād-ud-Daulah which is an exquisite precursor to the Taj Mahal.
