There is nothing better than meandering through the narrow streets of an old city. So Boston isn't technically that old; but, the North End neighborhood is easier to get to if you don't have time for a long flight to Rome. North End, the Italian hub of Boston, boasts some of the city's best mom and pop restaurants. But, who thinks of it as a place for a charming roadside attraction? Located in a private alley, All Saints Way is a community folk art extravaganza honoring Roman Catholic saints. Bostonian, Peter Baldassari, began collecting holy cards as a child. More than 60 years later, his collection has turned into an artscape of religious artifacts that attract people from around the world. Don't let the private alley deter you from visiting. If it's locked when you arrive, you'll still be able to see the collage of saints from the street. Amen!
