Kick back at the Alkyoni TavernaHere, the vibe is local, the menu is small (the server recited it in its entirety to each and every table) and you can walk into the kitchen to check out the day’s catch. Then there are the ocean views! Though all the tables have wide-ranging views of the Saronic Gulf, stop in early and make a reservation to get a prime spot — especially on Saturday nights. If you’ve been at some of the nearby beaches, be prepared to see some of the same faces at dinner. Overheard: one customer at a nearby table said he’d been frequenting the Alkyoni for 28 years. Coffees and breakfast served from 9am–12pm, lunch from 1:30–4:30 pm and dinner from 8–11pm.
