Traditional Rural Portuguese Village
The Aldeia da Mata Pequena is a perfectly restored example of what rural village life in Portugal was like up until the last century. Only half an hour away from Lisbon, this village feels like it´s in the middle of nowhere and all of the houses have been lovingly restored to their former glory, and are available to rent as holiday accommodation. Fresh bread is baked for guests daily in a traditional wood fired oven and while the houses appear to be out of the 1800´s they are all fully equipped with the conveniences of modern life. The houses are available either as a self-catering or fully catered option, depending on your needs.
