Trullo Houses Are Really Cool!
A day in Alberobello in the province of Bari. I felt at home. The cool roofs are stacked stones called trullo. The construction stays cool in summer and warm in winter. The number of trullo indicates the number of rooms and some have many to house generations of families, and animals (in winter) under one roof. Stunning!
