Alaska Native Heritage Center

8800 Heritage Center Drive

This educational and cultural center offers a variety of song, dance and artistic demonstrations that celebrate Alaska’s 11 main nations: Aleut, Alutiiq, Athabascan, Eyak, Haida, Inupiaq/St. Lawrence Island Yupik, Tlingit, Tsimshian and Yup’ik/Cup’ik. Wander through six life-size replicas of homes that sit beside Lake Tiulana and talk to Native Alaskans at each spot. For $29.95, a joint Alaska Cultural Pass allows access to this museum and the Anchorage Museum, with a free shuttle between the two.
